The
White Plains Hospital Auxiliary is made up of a special group of more than 700 dedicated
individuals with a mission to promote and advance the welfare of White Plains Hospital.
Members proudly and passionately serve as advocates of the hospital, coordinate
fundraising projects, organize special events, write and distribute a newsletter
and contribute thousands of volunteer hours per year. Many also serve on the White
Plains Hospital Board of Directors.
The Auxiliary sponsors a wide array of programs, services and activities
including:

- the White Plains Hospital gift shop
- blood pressure screenings
- beauty services for patients
- hospital tours for students and adults
- the Patient Library and Book Corner

for junior volunteers

Major Events
The Fall Gala, the Auxiliary’s signature fundraising event,
and the Spring Luncheon celebrate and honor the hard work of physicians
and medical staff, while encouraging increased philanthropic support of White Plains
Hospital.
The
Scarecrow Festival has been bringing families together for a great
cause and raising awareness and funds for White Plains Hospital’s pediatric department
for more than 13 years. The festival brings the community together for scarecrow
building, pumpkin decorating, cider, treats and lots of family fun.
